2010 Ambassador's Message

Thomas Rowe, 2010 Wallacetown Fair Ambassador - Over the past year, I have experienced many exciting and interesting things during my reign as the Wallacetown Fair Ambassador. Although at first I was unsure of what my experience would be, the results exceeded my expectations.

As a Fair Ambassador, you attend many events involving your fair and other fairs in Ontario. These events allow the Ambassadors to get to know each other and also to compete to represent the CNE. These events are quite interesting! I was amazed at how much fun I could have while carrying the title. Various entertainment, displays and discussions are just some of the wonderful things I was able to experience.

The benefits of becoming fair Ambassador are endless. The experience is what you choose to make it. As Fair Ambassador I have grown as a person and learned how to interact in unfamiliar situations. Running for Fair Ambassador was and still is one of the best decisions I have made. It is truly amazing how much this has impacted my life. Looking back, I know I made the right decision in choosing to run for Ambassador. At first I was unsure, but as I began to open up, the wonderful experience began.

If I could serve as Ambassador again I know I would! It's great to see how dedicated and involved this community is with the fair. I always enjoy attending the Wallacetown fair, and being given the opportunity to represent such a wonderful fair and community was a true honour. I encourage all those who are able to participate in such a great experience to do so. Get involved, and most importantly, enjoy the fair as well as the amazing community we have here! I'm so glad I chose to do this, and I'm very proud to have represented this fair in it's 150th year! Hopefully, there will be many years to come of the Wallacetown fair.

Sincerely, Thomas Rowe
