Are you ready for the Agricultural Society's 150th anniversary this year? Check with Lin McCann at 762-2534 for information about quilting and other needlework for our 150th anniversary.

RULES
1. Doors will close for entries at 12 noon sharp on Friday the first day of the Fair
2. The exhibitor will be allowed only one entry per section
3. Mailed entries should be received two weeks before the Fair opens. Otherwise the entry form must be left at the Fair Office before the exhibitors start placing entries in the Exhibit Hall. If this rule is not adhered to, no prize money can be awarded. The membership fee is not retained from last year's prize money. The current year's membership fee must be paid before placing entries in the hall.
4. Only new and up-to-date work will be judged
5. In the case of no competition, prizes may be withheld if the work is judged to be unworthy
Score: Workmanship - 50, Design & Colour - 20, Material - 15, General Appearance - 15.
6. Quilt exhibitors - write on the back of the tag if the quilt has already been a "Best of Show" winner

Quilt Hints: A few helpful hints to qualify for the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies (OAAS) annual championship quilt competition. (Hand quilted and machine quilted competition)

REMEMBER: The size of a quilt only counts if you're entering it in the OAAS. Otherwise, any quilt can be made in any bed size.
