OPEN MINIATURE HORSE SHOW

NOTE: Exhibitors should carry their own Liability insurance

Open to all Class A and B miniature horses. The show will take a one hour break (approximate) from 12 to 1 p.m. to permit exhibitors to join the parade and to provide a lunch break.

RULES and REGULATIONS
A. All entries to be sent to the Secretary, Box 1, Wallacetown, ON, N0L 2M0 two weeks before the beginning of the Fair. Memberships are not retained from previous year's winnings and must be paid at the time of entry
B. 'Everybody Pays' policy applies. Anyone entering the fairgrounds is required to pay the gate admission - no exceptions
C. The general rules of the Wallacetown fair to govern, except where the special rules if this show apply
D. All entries must be owned and registered in the name of the exhibitor
E. There are two animals allowed per exhibitor or breeding unit in a maximum of two single classes
F. All horses must remain on the grounds until 4:30 p.m. Saturday or the prize money will be foreit
G. No vehicle access is permitted through the front gate off Argyle Street, with the exception of Handicapped marked vehicles. All vehicles MUST enter by the Sifton Street gate(formerly Queen Street). The show is held at the north end of the 4-H Building

In lieu of an entry fee, 10% will be deducted from the prize winnings.
Prize money (except Sections 5-9): 1st - $8, 2nd - $7, 3rd - $5

  2. Mare
  3. Stallion
  4. Gelding
  5. Champion Horse - top 2 entries from Sections 1-4. Grand $15, Reserve - $10
  6. Junior Showmanship - under age 12 the day of the fair
  7. Youth Showmanship - age 13 - 18 the day of the fair
  8. Adult Showmanship - age 19 and over the day of the fair
  9. Champion Showmanship - top 2 entries from Section 6 - 8. Grand $15, Reserve - $10
  10. Solid colour - open to horses NOT in multi-colour class
  11. Multi colour (Appaloosaa, pintos) - open to horses NOT in solid colour class
  12. Obstacle in Halter
  13. Open Driving - reinmanship
  14. Open Pleasure Driving - working
  15. Youth Pleasure Driving - 18 years and under day of fair, may be accompanied by a senior driver
  16. Obstacle Driving

Special: Fair Theme Costume Class: - judging to be held at 11:30a.m. to permit participants to join the parade, if desired. Open to all ages.
